Description

The hardness of the main component of the tire protection chain after carburizing increased from 53hrc to 61hrc, the surface hardness of the circular ring increased from 45hrc to 56hrc, and the center hardness of the circular ring reached 50hrc.

This is the inspection record of the carburizing data at 1.2 millimeters.

Generally, in iron mines or harsh working environments, or for larger tire protection chain models operating in high wear and high impact environments, customers will choose carburizing treatment. Carbonization can be carried out at depths of 1.2mm, 2mm, 3mm, etc. according to requirements.
After carburizing, a high carbon layer is formed on the surface of the chain link, which increases its wear resistance by more than three times and reduces wear caused by friction with the ground. Through a gradient structure of “external hardness and internal toughness” (high surface hardness+low-carbon toughness of the core), the chain link is not easily broken when subjected to stone impact or heavy load impact, extending its service life.
