Expansion of business scope—tunnel platform wheels
In 2024, while cooperating with Nanjing Iron and Steel Company, we also independently developed the wheel set of the tunnel excavation platform. The wheel set of the tunnel excavation trolley (also known as the tunnel excavation trolley or drilling trolley) is a key component for its movement and positioning, directly affecting the mobility, stability, and construction efficiency of the equipment.
The basic composition of the wheelset
Wheelset (wheel): High strength alloy steel or rubber tires are usually used, depending on the type of track (rail or trackless).
Wheel axles and bearings: bear the weight of the trolley and require high load capacity and wear resistance.
Steering mechanism: Some trolleys are equipped with hydraulic steering systems, which facilitate flexible adjustment of position inside the tunnel.
Braking system: ensures the stability of the trolley on slopes or when stopping, commonly in the form of hydraulic clamping or mechanical braking.
