Description
In recent years, more and more customers have chosen to require carburizing technology for tire protection chains. After carburizing, the hardness of tire protection chains can be increased to 23%(compare with the universal protection chain).
1. What is carburizing process? Surface strengthening technology: Place low carbon steel chain links into a carburizing furnace and inject carbon elements at high temperatures (900-950 ℃) to form a high carbon hardening layer (0.5-2mm thick) that maintains toughness internally. Result: The surface hardness reaches HRC 60+(ordinary chains only have HRC 50), the wear resistance is increased by more than 3 times, and the impact resistance remains unchanged.
2. Core advantages Super wear-resistant: The carburized layer resists direct friction from steel slag and ore, extending its lifespan by 50% -80% compared to ordinary chains. Fatigue resistance: The core toughness avoids brittle fracture and is suitable for high-frequency impact scenarios (such as frequent start stop of forklifts). High cost-effectiveness: The performance is close to high-end materials.
3. Applicable scenarios Extreme wear conditions: Transportation of hot steel slag (below 800 ℃) Mining gravel pavement Port container heavy machinery.
